A portrait and landscape painter who studied at the Slade School and the Metropolitan School of Art, Dublin, Eva Hamilton was the sister of Letitia Marion Hamilton. She is recorded as living at a number of addresses in Ireland including Dunboyne, Co. Meath, Dublin, Monastervin, Palmerston, Dublin and Dunsinea, Castle Knock. She exhibited at the Fine Art Society, Goupil Gallery, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and the Royal Hibernian Academy.
