Mark Richard Hall was born in 1970 and lives with his wife Amanda and teenage son Luke.   A dedicated professional artist and sculptor for nearly twenty years, Mark Hall has a studio on the Hampshire/Dorset border.

Mark  says: Narrative offered with sculpture makes me uncomfortable.   It steals something from the viewer who, in my opinion, must trust their own interpretation of what they see.   This is just as important as the work itself and is part of the process.    Whether your reaction is good or bad, is unimportant.   'Good art' should be at least trying to communicate something to you on some level.   The inscription on the doors to my studio and gallery reads – 'Art is a dangerous place, the ignorant shouldn’t go there'.   I love wide-open eyes and inquisitive minds, I invite you to look and talk to my work!
