A portrait, figure and flower painter, and noted watercolourist, Doris Pusinelli was a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours  and the  Pastel Society  and also showed at RA, RBA and SWA. She did commissioned work for companies, e.g. Goodyear and Dubarry, and published a series of articles in "The Artist" on watercolour painting in mid-1930's.
