Young British sculptor Victoria Hunt specialises in life-size sculptures of small dogs, skilfully made from papier maché over a chicken wire frame. Each sculpture is covered in text containing a lot of detail that holds the viewer’s attention – the longer you look at it, the more you see. Much thought is put into this so there is a connection between the text and the breed’s history or personality.

Victoria Hunt’s sculptures are held in many private collections, both by those who know and recognise a familiar breed and those who value a unique and quirky piece of artwork to decorate a room and provide a talking point.
