Edward Noott was born in 1965 and took a Foundation Course at the Cheltenham College of Art. He later studied at Trent Polytechnic College of Art, where he gained a B.A. – Fine Art Degree Course, and later attended the State University of New York, Oneonta, N.Y.
 
Edward Noott has exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Oils, the Royal Birmingham Society of Painters, Royal West of England Academy and the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne. One-man exhibitions have been held in Broadway annually since 1993, together with exhibitions in Bristol in 1995 and 1997, at the Weatherburne Gallery, Naples, U.S.A. in February 2000, and the John M.Stringer Gallery, New Jersey, 2002, 2005 and 2007 and at the Bourne Gallery 2006. 
 
Awards include Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Open Exhibition 2003 - Best painting and Royal West of England Academy Purchase Prize (purchased by the University of Wales for their permanent collection).
 
Limited editions and open prints of the work of Edward Noott are published by The Art Group and Buckingham Fine Art and greetings cards are published by The Robertson Collection and Campden Graphics. An article on Edward Noott’s work was published by “The Artist” magazine.
