W. Pettit George was an English School artist who is best known for his paintings of landscapes, and particularly lake scenes in the north of England, the Lake District and Wales.
He is recorded as exhibiting nine paintings at the Society of Artists in Suffolk Street, London, between 1852 –1854.
W P George lived for at least part of his life in Grasmere, Cumbria. |
