JAN JACOBUS MATTHIJS DAMSCHROEDER 1825-1905
Jan Jacobus Matthijs Damschroeder was born in Holland in 1825, and is recorded as living and working in Amsterdam . Although not a great deal is recorded about his life, J J M Damschroeder seems to have been most well known for his paintings of genre subjects. The museum of Montreal has a work by this artist in its collection. Damschroeder died in 1905.
