The following work by Dorothea Sharp RBA ROI VPSWA has been previously exhibited by John Noott Galleries and is now in private collections world wide.
After studying art at the Regent Street Polytechnic and in Paris, Dorothea Sharp exhibited at the Royal Academy, in the provinces and abroad. She was elected RBA in 1907 and ROI in 1922. Dorothea Sharp lived in London and also at Blewbury in Berkshire and St Ives in Cornwall and her work is represented in several public collections at home and abroad.
 Dorothea Sharp is especially well-known for her pictures of children, often painted with the light behind the subject, giving a luminous 'halo' effect.
