and Broadway Editions.
John Noott opened his first gallery in 1972, focusing on 19th and 20th century art and has represented many important artists from those times such as Alfred de Breanski, J F Herring and John Emms and, from more recent times, Edward Seago, Dorothea Sharp and Dame Laura Knight . Since then, the collection has evolved and grown and now embraces the work of many fine contemporary artists including the work of Ken Howard, Mary Fedden and Tom Coates.
John Noott Galleries has established a reputation for giving talented artists their first opportunity to exhibit - notable among these are Sam Toft, Ron Bone, Edward Noott and Tim Gustard - all of whom held their very first one-man shows at John Noott Galleries, and are now highly sought after world-wide. The policy of staging art exhibitions has proved rewarding for both artist and gallery, encouraging loyalty and a feeling of being part of a community.
John Noott Galleries have always been keen to promote new talents and artists are welcome to contact the gallery.
