Cetta di Lieto studied at Loughborough College of Art and Design, graduating in 1989 with a BA (Hons) in Ceramics. In 1991 she undertook a Ceramic Exhibition Course at Kensington and Chelsea College, and in 1999 established her studio in Gloucestershire.

Cetta di Lieto's slab-built ceramic work is exhibited at galleries throughout the UK and in Dublin, Eire. In 2002 Cetta di Lieto became a member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen.
