An animal and figure painter, Lilian Cheviot studied at Calderon’s School of Animal painting and Walter Donnes’s Life School. Cheviot lived at Thorpe, East Molesey, Surrey, and exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists between 1894 and 1902.
