Tim Andrews has gained an international reputation for his distinctive smoke-fired and raku ceramics. His pieces have been acquired for both public and private collections and are exhibited widely across the UK and abroad. He is a guest lecturer at seminars, workshops and colleges both in the UK and abroad, has run a series of international pottery summer schools from his workshop and is a published author on the subject of raku.

 

After an apprenticeship with David Leach, Tim Andrews worked at Dartington Pottery Training Workshop before setting up his first studio in 1981 with a grant from the Crafts Council.  He currently works from his studio in Devon.

 

Tim Andrews is a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association and also belongs to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and the West Country Potters Association.
