Miss Dorothy Adamson was an painter of animal subjects who exhibited extensively during her short career, including at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Painters in Oils, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Society of Women Artists and various galleries in the provinces. She lived at various times in Cheshire, Wales, Dorcester and Bushey in Hertfordshire, but sadly Dorothy Adamson died in her 30s, whilst still in her prime.
