Artist : Veronica Ballan

Veronica Ballan graduated from The Sunderland College of Art with an Upper Second in Art, and after studying and obtaining a PGCE course began teaching in an Oldham school.  During her time a teacher Veronica continued to work on her own designs and found that the demand for her pieces was increasing.   After seven years of teaching Veronica decided to become a full time self-employed ceramicist.  

Veronica began her small business in 1982 and has been in continuous production ever since.   Her success means that her work is collected all over the world from United Kingdom to places such as Canada, Australia and South Africa.
